Heart Art in Math - Draw a Cardioid
Aiming to build children’s STEAM skills where mathematics meets art to work and get inspired through the creative process of mathematics meeting art, this content will engage students in mathematics by allowing them to explore the cardioid to make a heart art design. Students will practice how to draw a cardioid in a simplistic way and color in the geometric cardioid shape to create their heart art design. This course is ideal to inspire and bring the lessons to life and allow students to discover the beauty in math💕.

ACTIVITIES:
- Video-assisted Learning: Watch the video to discover the most famous mathematical heart shape- Cardioid.
- Challenge I: draw a cardioid with straight lines: Watch the video-assisted learning to learn how to make a cardioid with straight lines and discover the geometric cardioid shape created by drawing evenly spaced lines around a circle
- Challenge II: draw a cardioid with a compass: Watch the video and Originals-animation assisted learning to know how to make a cardioid with a compass and discover the cardioid curve given as an envelope of many circles.
- Heart Art Design: Draw a cardioid and color in the geometric cardioid shape to complete the Heart Art design and share the story to classmates.
