桌球是奧運比賽的項目之一，藉由有趣的互動活動而不是傳統的練習來幫助小朋友認識桌球的基本規則，來提高小朋友對桌球的興趣，並能在觀看奧運賽事的時候，除了為喜愛的隊伍加油吶喊，也能更加瞭解體育運動、體會運動精神。
