How Do You Use Your Five Senses?
Recognize the five senses sight, sound, smell, hearing, touch, and identify the body parts that go along with them and how they work. Students will discuss and observe how they use their five senses.
Activities:
- Begin with Video-assisted Learning to help build background knowledge about how the five senses in the human body work. Also, learn in what way each sense plays an important role in our understanding of the world.
- Fill in the blanks and learn how the five senses in the human body work.
- Share the things that you like to “touch” and write down a fact of fingers.
- Share the things that you like to “smell” and write down a fact of the nose.
- Drag the body part that you use to sense the action.
- Write or draw to describe how you use your five senses about “Apple”. Use myViewBoard Whiteboard Participate mode for group collaboration brainstorming.
- Monopoly Game: Let students recognize the functions of the five senses. Roll the dice and walk to the square that corresponds with the sense you rolled.
