Other Updates and Improvements

  • We enhance Display‘s stability. Time to enjoy a smoother presenting experience.
  • In Originals, the search bar now gives you more precise results. And the interface looks even better now.

Classroom

New features

  • Before, Open Learning Format (.olf) could only be used in Whiteboard for Android and Windows. Now, you can use .olf in Classroom. Effortlessly use premade digital whiteboard sessions across our solutions on any device.
  • AutoSave is supported for the files saved on the cloud drive. When a user opens a file from the bound cloud drive and turns the AutoSave mode on, the current file will be saved automatically as changes are made.
  • Users can change the border color of shapes under “Stroke color”.
  • Moving locked objects is possible now. Select the object or text displayed on the Classroom canvas to get an adorning menu. Click “Movable Lock” to freely move the object. On the student side, it allows them to move the object as well.

  • When importing files, there’s no more 30-page limit anymore. That’s great!
  • A sound notification will be sent to teachers when students raise their hands.
  • When a user selects a line with a connector to connect two objects/shapes, dots appear on the outline of those shapes/objects, indicating where to attach a connector.
Connect objects with lines.

Whiteboard

iOS Version

Hey, the new sheriff is in town. iPad users can download Whiteboard Basic for free on the App Store. It provides almost identical experiences to what you see in other versions.

Note that it’s a beta version. Thus, it doesn’t provide features that require login. Still, we encourage you to download and give it a try.

Windows & Android

New features

  • After teachers save their lesson materials on Whiteboard in .olf format, these files can be also used in Classroom. This feature help teachers apply same whiteboard session accross our devices and applications.
  • In Whiteboard for Windows, when students throw files in “Pop Quiz” and “Throw”, you can see participants’ names in the notifications.
Check students’ answers by their names.
