Switch launchers

Users can select and switch the launcher interface on their ViewBoard EDLA device. Choosing the correct launcher ensures the board's interface is optimized for their specific teaching or administrative needs.

Switch launchers

Follow the steps below to change the primary interface of your ViewBoard.

1. Launch the Settings app.
2. Scroll down and tap System on the left sidebar
3. Tap Launcher Scheme from the list.
    
4. Select your preferred interface:
   1. Google Launcher 
      Best for users who rely on the full Google ecosystem, including the Play Store and GMS apps.
   2. ViewBoard Launcher 
      Best for a streamlined workspace focused on whiteboarding, casting, and NFC sign-in.
       
5. The Switch Launcher Scheme prompt will appear. 
   1. Review the warning 
   2. Tap Switch & Reboot to continue.
       
6. The device will restart. Once the reboot is complete, the new launcher interface will be active.
