Sticky Notes
The Sticky Notes tool lets users add virtual notes to the myViewBoard canvas for annotations or reminders. These notes can then be resized and changed in color. To set the Sticky Notes as the active tool, click the following icon on the main toolbar:
Adding sticky notes
To add sticky notes anywhere on the canvas, perform the following:
- Click on the main toolbar.
- Select a sticky note from the menu.
- A new sticky note appears on the top left area of the visible canvas.
- By default, the sticky note will start in text input mode.
Start typing to add text. - Adding multiple sticky notes will stack them on top of the other.
Click and drag a sticky note to move it on another area. - When exiting text mode after a sticky note is inserted, myViewBoard switches to the Select tool .
- By default, the sticky note will start in text input mode.
- To delete the sticky note, perform one of the following:
- Click the Delete icon on the adorning menu
- Use the Erase selection tool on the main toolbar.

Adorning menu
The Adorning menu is a context menu that provides additional options to interact with sticky notes added on the canvas. Actions available on the menu change depending on the active object selected.

Menu options
The following options are specific to the adorning menu for sticky notes:

Sticky note color
Changes the color of the currently selected sticky note. |

Pen
Allows freehand drawing within the sticky note area. Stroke width and color can be adjusted. |

Eraser
Erases strokes drawn by the pen. Note that only the strokes drawn inside the sticky note area will be removed. |

Text format
Displays options for changing the style of the currently selected text. |

Font size
Click the up or down arrows to increase or decrease the size of all text inside the sticky note. |
