ClassSwift


Rostering Teachers inside ClassSwift Hub – Owner/Admin Feature

 

Who this is for: Org Owners/Admins who are not using a rostering system like ClassLink. (If you use ClassLink, follow your rostering addendum instead.)


Instructions

  1. Open the ClassSwift Hub URL and sign in with your admin account.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Teacher List.
  3. Choose how to add teachers. You can bulk import many teachers at once or add a single teacher.

Prerequisites

  • Admin/Owner access to ClassSwift Hub.
  • Teacher Name and Email list (for bulk import).
  1. Click Upload.
  2. In the Upload List window, click Download Template to get the .xls sheet.
  3. Fill the template with one teacher per row:
    • Display Name
    • Email
  4. Save the file, then click Upload File and select your completed template.
  5. Wait for confirmation.
    • Limit: up to 500 users per upload.
    • If a teacher is already registered, their info will be auto‑filled.

Option B — Add a single teacher

  1. Click Add Teacher.
  2. Enter the teacher’s Display Name and Email.
  3. Click Save. The teacher appears in the Teacher List.

Tips

  • Owner/Admin accounts manage rostering only. If an Owner/Admin also teaches, they must add themselves as a teacher.
  • Help teachers install the ClassSwift app on their teaching devices after they’re added.
  • Keep the template format as‑is (no extra columns/merged cells). Ensure emails are valid.
