Changes from classic UI
This page summarizes key information that admins should be aware of when transitioning to the new myViewBoard Admin UI.
myViewBoard Admin settings
These settings will be only available for users who have Admin permission in myViewBoard.
- As part of the transition to ViewSonic’s Entity Management, myViewBoard Entity Management has been renamed to myViewBoard Admin settings.
- To reflect the split in responsibilities:
- myViewBoard settings exclusively controls whiteboarding settings
- ViewSonic Entity settings is now for global management of Entities
As a result, it is now possible to be an admin only in myViewBoard, without being auto-assigned as admin in the ViewSonic Entity or Manager. This separation provides greater flexibility and more granular control over access to specific myViewBoard services.
Changes in admin navigation
These adjustments are intended to clarify the new division of management between the standalone myViewBoard service and the global ViewSonic entity, while improving the overall admin experience.
Transferred

The following items were transferred to the ViewSonic Entity page:
- Domains
- Single Sign On (SSO)

Changes in network configuration
Admins need to add the following new domains within their network’s email and security infrastructure:
- service.viewsonic.cloud
- billing.viewsonic.cloud
Moving forward, these additional domains will be used to send critical information related to user accounts, service updates, subscription notifications, billing details, and support communications. Failure to whitelist these domains may result in important messages being delayed, flagged as spam, or not delivered at all.
If you are using a spam filtering or email security service (like Proofpoint, Barracuda, Microsoft Defender, etc.), make sure to include these domains in the allow list (whitelist) or safe sender list.
