Personalization, subscription and resource info to enhance myViewBoard

Configure Magic Line Pen & Shape Pen

Change the default image for myViewBoard Whiteboard's Magic Line Pen and Shape Pen tools. Browse images to apply as the default or optional image when using these tools.

Sign in into myViewBoard and, from the home page, locate both tools within FollowMe.

Magic Line Pen

Magic Line Pen allows teachers to create a fun guessing game experience for students. Learn more about how to use Magic Line Pen in class.

Access Magic Line Pen

There are two ways you may access Magic Line Pen settings:

  1. Go to myViewBoard.com.
  2. Press Sign in in the right-side of the title bar.
  3. Input your account details in the sign-in page.
  4. On the home page,
    • Option 1: 
      1. Press  in the title bar.
      2. Press in the left-side panel.
    • Option 2:
      1. Open the user drop-down menu in the title bar. 
      2. Press FollowMe.
      3. On the side-panel, click .

User accesses the Magic Line Pen page from the home page first from the title bar, and then from the user drop-down menu.

Upload images

Upload and access images to your cloud storage in the Magic Line Pen folder to make them accessible from within Whiteboard.

Delete

RECOMMENDATION

Magic Line Pen images can be of any resolution, but 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) PNG and JPG files are recommended. 

Upload images in one of two ways:

  • Option 1: Access cloud storage through its app and upload images directly to the Magic Line Pen folder.
    • Some services like OneDrive and Google Drive can be integrated directly to your desktop in Windows. In such cases, simply drag and drop files into the myViewBoard > Magic Line Pen folder.
    • You can also access these cloud services' websites and upload file there. Place files in the myViewBoard > Magic Line Pen folder.

  • Option 2: Access cloud storage through Magic Line Pen settings. 
    1. In the Magic Line Pen page, press the Update Files button (to the right below the Default section) to open the Magic Line Pen folder in your cloud storage.
    2. Upload or drag-and-drop your desired image file to this folder.
    3. Return to the Magic Line Pen page, and press .
    4. You should see the recently added images appear in the bound cloud storage.

Default image

Inside the Magic Line Pen page, browse between the uploaded images to select one of them as the default.

To select an image, press the button below the image to set it as the image that is revealed when drawing.

In Whiteboard

Shape Pen

Shape Pen allows teachers to create a fun way to animate and decorate the myViewBoard Whiteboard canvas. Learn more about how to use Shape Pen in class.

Access Shape Pen

There are two ways you may access Shape Pen settings:

  1. Go to myViewBoard.com.
  2. Press Sign in in the right-side of the title bar.
  3. Input your account details in the sign-in page.
  4. On the home page,
    • Option 1: 
      1. Press  in the title bar.
      2. Press in the left-side panel.
    • Option 2:
      1. Open the user drop-down menu in the title bar. 
      2. Press FollowMe.
      3. On the side-panel, click .

Upload images
