Explore the latest features and updates in TeamOne's latest release for January 2026, enabling more efficient collaboration and productivity for your team.

 



Collaboration updates

This release improves how users join boards, collaborate on IFPs, and access key actions during active sessions.


  • IFP board invitations: We've added the ability to invite others to join an IFP board to make in-room collaboration easier to initiate. Afterwards, users can find all boards they have visited on the Joined IFP boards and Recently opened boards sections on their dashboard.

  • Join by code on dashboard: A new Join by Code button allows users to quickly access boards without browsing or searching. 
    • Scan a QR code to instantly join a session on the IFP without signing in.
    • Enables cross-IFP collaboration, allowing groups to work on a shared infinite canvas on one or more IFP(s).
    • Users have the option to sign in if they need to revisit any board they previously joined.

  • Export in Focus Mode: Users can export content via a Download option within Focus Mode.

  • QR export flow update: A couple of changes to improve usability:

    • QR export unified export: The export entry point has been unified by using QR code scanning as the primary download method.

    • Option relocation: The positions of Same Wi-Fi and Public Link have been swapped.





Interaction enhancements

We've also redesigned Focus Mode and input tools to provide faster access, cleaner visuals, and more precise control when writing or editing.


  • Improved touch editing: A new writing and editing method has been introduced for sticky notes and shapes on touch devices to improve accuracy and usability.

  • Lasso Eraser: We've added a Lasso Eraser to allow more precise erasing of handwritten content.

  • Focus Mode: Focus mode gets a few new features:

    • Pen pockets: Focus mode now has new pen pockets that provides faster access to commonly used tools.

    • Pie menu: The pie menu has replaced the floating tool panel to reduce visual clutter and improve tool selection.

    • Icon redesign: Focus Mode navigation icons have been redesigned to improve clarity and visual consistency.

  • Updated Pen toolbar: The new Pen toolbar (in both normal mode and Focus mode) now aligns with the refreshed design. 





Product scope changes

To focus on improving TeamOne's core experience and delivering a more stable and consistent experience across our primary platforms, the following changes were made:


  • App availability: Note these updates on app availability: 
    • TeamOne apps for Windows, and Android will be removed from the app stores.
    • New downloads are no longer available. 
    • Microsoft Teams integration will be discontinued.

  • Service continuity: Our commitment on service continuity:
    • Your existing data remains accessible via the TeamOne web version. 
    • We will continue to support the web platform and the ViewSonic IFP Android app.

  • Policy updates: Additionally, we've revised our policies to align with these updates:
