FollowMe Backgrounds

Change the default background for myViewBoard Whiteboard, as well as manage which backgrounds are available within Whiteboard's background management menu.

Sign in to myviewboard.com and go to the Backgrounds page within FollowMe settings to upload an image or set it as the default background for your Whiteboard sessions.

Access Backgrounds

There are two ways you may access Background settings:

1. Go to myviewboard.com.
2. Press Sign in in the right-side of the title bar.
3. Input your account details in the sign-in page.
4. On the home page,
   • Option 1: 
     1. Press  in the title bar.
     2. Press Background in the left-side panel.
   • Option 2:
     1. Open the user drop-down menu in the title bar. 
     2. Press FollowMe.
     3. Press Background in the left-side panel.

User accesses the Backgrounds page from the home page first from the title bar, and then from the user drop-down menu.

Upload Images

Upload and access images to your cloud storage in the Background folder to make them accessible from within Whiteboard.

Upload images in one of two ways:

• Option 1: Access cloud storage through the cloud app and upload images directly to the Background folder.
  • Some services like OneDrive and Google Drive can be integrated directly to your desktop in Windows. In such cases, simply drag and drop files into the myViewBoard > Background folder.
  • You can also access these cloud services' websites and upload files there. Place files in the myViewBoard > Background folder.

User is managing files going into their myViewBoard OneDrive Background folder. The user then reviews the uploaded files in their FollowMe Backgrounds settings.

• Option 2:Access cloud storage through Backgrounds. 
  1. In the Background page, press the Update Files button (to the right below the Default section) to open the Background folder in your cloud storage.
  2. Upload or drag-and-drop your desired image file to this folder.
  3. Return to the Background page, and press .
  4. You should see the recently added images appear in the bound cloud storage.

Default background

In the FollowMe Background tab, you will find a default background section, which corresponds to an image you may have previously set as default. Browse your available images for a desired default image in the following tabs:

Default cloud storage	Browse images stored in your connected cloud storage, in the Background folder.
myViewBoard default	Browse images pre-installed in myViewBoard Whiteboard.
Originals	Browse ViewSonic Originals backgrounds.

To set an image as a default background, follow these steps:

1. Locate the image you wish to set as default.
2. Press  below this image.
3. Scroll down and press Set As Default.

User sets an image as default background and then signs in to myViewBoard Whiteboard. The default image loads as the canvas background after sign-in.
