Your ViewBoard comes pre-installed with certain software for enhancing the classroom. These apps can't be deleted, but they can be hidden.

Access a fully featured digital whiteboarding app on your ViewBoard. myViewBoard Whiteboard offers essential whiteboarding tools like pens, erasers, shapes, math tools, and more, as well as interactive and multimedia tools for all your lesson delivery needs.

myViewBoard Manager provides a way to manage your ViewSonic devices from a web console. Pair your ViewBoard with Manager to allow IT admin to remotely manage your ViewBoard.

By doing so, you'll be able to power off, adjust volume, add Wi-Fi, update firmware, broadcast messages, and more! With Manager Advanced, do even more, like broadcasting multimedia, scheduling automated jobs, and pre-configuring device profiles.

For a convenient way to begin sharing a desktop device screen to your ViewBoard, use myViewBoard Display. All you need is an internet connection and browser on your casting device!

Another casting solution on your ViewBoard is vCast. Supporting both mobile and desktop devices, you'll need all devices to be on the same network, and then, you'll simply have to follow some on-screen instructions from within the app.

The Split Screen app allows viewing and interacting with two apps, side by side. 

For example: you can open a myViewBoard canvas on one side, and open a document from Office Suite on the other side. This setup provides a convenient way to copy content from one app to the other.

To use Split Screen:

1. Go to the home screen of your ViewBoard device. .
2. In your app tray, tap the Split Screen   app.
3. You should see a list of supported apps. 
   Select a first and second app to open in split screen.

To modify split screen view:

• Drag the central bar left or right to modify each app's screen size. 
  Apps can be resized to take up one-third, half, or two-thirds of the full screen.
• Tap  to swap apps displayed on the left and right sides.
• Tap  to close an app and select another app to open on that side.

Enable Miracast so that Windows and Android devices can wirelessly cast their screens to your ViewBoard. Have the option to require a password from any device attempting to cast.

Add an inset window where an external device's screen will display. The inset feed will be from a connected external input source.

1. Open the toolbar and select All Apps and then PIP.
2. To change the position of the inset window, press, hold, and drag the window to your preferred location.
3. Press Size to adjust the size of the inset window.
4. Switch input source by pressing any of the input source icons.
5. Press Touch to enable touch interaction with the inset window's input source.
6. Press Sound to control volume the inset window's input source.
7. Press Enter to switch to the PIP input source.

Advanced settings can also be customized to suit your needs.

With Screen Lock, enable a password requirement after the Screen Lock app is opened.

To set a password, it can be set in the app itself or in ViewBoard's settings.

1. Go to: Settings > Protection > Password for screen lock or open the Screen Lock app in the apps list.
2. Select Set Password and input a new four (4) digit password.
3. After inputting, press OK.
4. Now, when opening the ScreenLock app, the screen will lock and require the previously set password.

For teachers who would like to view Microsoft Office and other file types, OfficeSuite provides a lightweight solution. Open DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF, and more file types.

Additionally, create and save your own files for later use.

The Folders app provides a simple built-in method to easily navigate, locate, and organize files and folders with the ViewBoard device.

Use the following options to manage your files:

Option	Description
	Grid view Present folders and files in a grid.
	List view Present folders and files in a list.
	Filter Sort folders and files by categories.
	Select Enable to select folders and files by tapping.
	Create Create a new folder.
	Copy Copy the selected folders and files to the clipboard.
	Paste Paste copied items into the current folder.
	Cut Cut the selected folders and files to the clipboard.
	Delete Delete the selected folders and files.
	Rename Rename the currently selected folder or file.
	Send Send folders and files by email.
