Signing-in with NFC

To sign-in to your ViewBoard using an NFC, perform the following:

  1. Turn on the ViewBoard, and wait for the sign-in page to appear.
  2. On supported IFP models, the sign in screen displays the following message:
Sign-in with NFC by finding the NFC symbol below and near the sensor
Click & drag to move | Use scroll wheel to zoom
  3. Tap a registered card on the NFC sensor. If the card was successfully detected, the sign-in process should automatically start.
Click & drag to move | Use scroll wheel to zoom
  4. After sign-in, verify that:
    1. The message Signed-in successfully appears on the screen.
    2. Your home page (along with any customizations) is displayed.
    3. If bound to a Google account, apps that require a Google account are also automatically signed-in to your Google account.

  5. Start using the ViewBoard as usual.

Troubleshooting

Some suggestions you can try if you have issues signing-in via NFC:

  • If sign-in was unsuccessful, verify if the NFC is registered and that the tap was performed on the correct location.
  • NFC sign-in will not work if the IFP cannot connect to a stable network. If this occurs, check your network connection, and try again.
  • If NFC sign-in fails, try signing-in via password or QR code.
