vLauncher 3.0 overview

vLauncher 3.0 is the default home screen users see when they launch specific ViewBoard models. It provides easy access to several ViewBoard features and includes options that allow users to customize their ViewBoard for more efficient work.

Supported models

The following IFP models come preinstalled with vLauncher 3.0:

 

  • IFP53
  • IFP92
  • IFP110 - requires ver20240412
  • IFP52-2F

 

 Selected IFP models that came with vLauncher 2.0 can also be upgraded to 3.0. For more information, see the following guide:

 



Differences from v2.0

vLauncher 3.0 offers several major improvements from version 2.0:

 

  • Updated UI design         
    vLauncher UI uses a new set of icons and an updated UI layout to create a cleaner and more organized interface.
  • Toolbar availability         
    Users can now access the toolbar on all sides of the screen. The previous version only allowed the toolbar on the left and right sides.
  • Split-screen capability         
    Added split-screen functionality. Users can run and view two apps simultaneously for better multitasking.
  • New sign-in flow         
    The sign-in process was redesigned to streamline user authentication and improve security.
  • User settings synchronization         
    User settings are now carried over across multiple devices. This ensures a consistent experience for users switching between devices.
  • Customizable keyboard size         
    Added more options for keyboard sizes, offering greater flexibility for typing comfort.
  • Added NFC screen lock         
    Added an NFC screen lock feature to allow users to unlock their devices securely using NFC technology.
