What's New in TeamOne's March release

Explore the latest features and updates in TeamOne's March release, enabling more efficient collaboration and productivity for your team.

This release includes updates to the eraser tool. 

Interaction enhancements

We’ve added a couple of improvements to some of TeamOne’s interactive features:

• Notion integration. You can now embed your TeamOne boards inside Notion. Simply paste the "can view" link of your board into a Notion page. View a live sample here. 
• Open pen tool automatically. The pen tool will now open automatically when launching TeamOne on the IFP for a seamless start.
• Close color palette after selection. The pen and highlighter’s color palette will now close automatically after a color is selected to streamline the selection process.
• Enable palm eraser while using the eraser tool. Users can now use the palm eraser while the eraser tool is selected to offer greater flexibility.
• Ensure connector menu remains visible. The connector menu will always remain visible and will no longer be covered by other elements.
• Preserve object layer order after grouping. Grouped objects will now retain their original layer order to preserve the intended design structure.

Movement and scaling

The March release also includes fixes to moving and scaling actions performed on the board: 

• Move objects after selection. Users can now move objects immediately after selecting them to improve workflow efficiency.
• Shift + Move for precise alignment. Holding the Shift key moves objects vertically or horizontally straight for precise positioning.
• Maintain viewport and scale after adding successors. Viewports and scale adjustments will now update appropriately after adding an object’s successor to maintain a consistent experience.
• Hide resize and rotate handlers at small scales. Resize and rotate handlers will now be hidden when the canvas scale is small to prevent visual clutter.
• Show smart alignment at smaller canvas scales. Smart alignment guides will now appear even when the canvas scale is below 20% to enhance precision at smaller zoom levels.

Improved workflow 

We’ve also enhanced how TeamOne works on your IFP to make saving your impromptu sessions easier:

• Help Center on startup. The Help Center is now accessible on startup to provide users with guidance when needed.
• Automatic board naming. Boards saved on startup will be named based on the time and IFP model to improve organization.
• Prompt to save sign-in info. Users who sign in on startup will now be prompted to save their sign-in information for future access.

Other updates 

Finally, a few feature tweaks to make the TeamOne user experience better:

• Access to management page. New entity owners will now be able to access the entity management page to enable better administrative control.
• TeamOne on the IFP53. TeamOne is now fully compatible with IFP53 for seamless performance on the latest hardware.
• Updates to tier page. The tier page now has (a) a footer to improve structure and readability, and (b) a header to provide clear navigation and context.
