Classroom End-of-Service information

Important

The EOS date applies globally, with the exception of Taiwan. Users in Taiwan will retain access to myViewBoard Classroom until January 2027.

Depending on your pedagogical and operational requirements, we encourage you to evaluate the following ViewSonic solutions:

ViewSonic TeamOneâ„¢
Designed for dynamic student engagement, this platform supports real-time collaboration and interaction, making it ideal for active learning environments.
myViewBoard for Web
A robust interactive whiteboarding tool optimized for virtual and hybrid learning scenarios. It enables seamless content sharing and real-time interaction across devices.

Both solutions are engineered to deliver a modern teaching experience, aligned with evolving educational needs.

Feature replacements

As Classroom is scheduled for End of Support, we recommend reviewing the list below to identify alternative products that offer similar functionality.

1. For activities, student engagement, and in-class learning

myViewBoard has features optimized for interactive workflows, enabling real-time annotation, collaborative group tasks, and dynamic instructional delivery during live sessions.

    • Multi-tab
Supports concurrent loading and management of multiple lesson files, streamlining instructional transitions and improving session continuity.
    • Magic Box
Insert interactive items such as virtual dice, flashcards, and spotlight tools onto the canvas. These features enhance content visualization, improve accessibility, and increase engagement.

2. For assessment and personalized learning

myViewBoard enables native creation and deployment of quizzes and assignments within the platform, allowing seamless integration with lesson content.

    • Throw
Use the Throw feature to easily receive files from your class. This tool aims to encourage collaboration and file exchange during lessons.
    • Pop Quiz
Delivers interactive assessments including ad-hoc quizzes, polling, and real-time response collection for immediate feedback and data aggregation.

3. For huddle sessions that allow students to share from their own devices

TeamOne can supplement huddle sessions in lieu of classroom.

    • TeamOne
Supports collaborative whiteboarding online, allowing multiple students to work on one board at once. Students and teachers can invite each other to edit, share, or view their boards.

Additionally, teachers can also look into using AirSync to allow students to present content from their own devices directly to the instructor’s IFP display in group discussion contexts, via low-latency wireless casting and multi-device collaboration.

What this means for users

Educators and administrators currently using myViewBoard Classroom should begin planning for the transition. All access to the Classroom environment will be disabled post-EOS, and no technical support or updates will be provided.

After 2025 Dec 31, the Classroom platform will no longer be accessible or supported.

Backup your content

To avoid any disruption to your instructional workflows, we strongly recommend backing up all essential teaching content and materials prior to the EOS deadline. Export and store lesson plans, multimedia content, and session data to ensure continuity.
