This month, we’re focusing on smarter workflows, stronger security, and expanded accessibility. These improvements are designed to make managing and using ViewSonic solutions more seamless than ever.

myViewBoard

myViewBoard has been updated to deliver smoother onboarding, better user guidance, and improved accessibility across myViewBoard services, as well as addressing several UI and language-related issues.

Feature enhancements

• User sign-in flow optimization. These include:
  • Reduced role selection steps during first sign-in on the myViewBoard.com dashboard.
  • Added a tutorial to guide users in binding a Cloud Drive service, making it easier to open and save files.
  • Removed the automatic shift to the Community page in a new tab.
    
    
• Community account creation auto-email. Users now automatically receive a confirmation email when creating a community account during onboarding.
  
  
• Direct access to ClassSwift Hub. ClassSwift Hub can now be accessed directly from the ViewSonic Dashboard, without redirection to the official ClassSwift site.
  
  
• myViewBoard Deployment access. All entity users—not just admins—can now access the myViewBoard Deployment page to download the MSI file for installation or school-wide deployment.

Fixed issues

• Entity & Settings. Language display on the myViewBoard settings page now works as expected.
  
  
• UI & Onboarding Flow. Fixed abnormal UI display on the “Join a Session” page.
  
  
• myViewBoard Preference. When a preferred language is set in the ViewSonic Account Portal, all pages in myViewBoard.com (including Admin Settings) now immediately reflect the selected language.

Manager

Manager also implements several new features this month to make it easier to manage users, protect configurations, and keep devices up to date across more models.

• Expanded Model Support. We’ve broadened device compatibility with support for new models:
  • IFP63
  • CDE14
  • CDE31

• Firmware Updates via Web URL. You can now update firmware from external Web URL sources on the following models:
  • IFP50-5
  • IFP33G
  • IFP93
  • CDE30

• EDLA User Management. Admins can now have the ability to add, delete, and manage EDLA device user profiles on EDLA devices with Advanced Licenses. You can also control user creation directly on the device.

• Profile Management Enhancements. We’ve added a New/Classic switch in the app list management section of profiles. This makes it easier to toggle between launchers, giving admins more flexibility in customizing device profiles.

• AirSync Upgrades. AirSync just got more powerful with two key improvements:
  
  
  • AirSync Profile Integration 
    Administrators can now include AirSync configuration within profiles for faster, more consistent deployments.
    
    
  • Password Protection 
    AirSync settings are now password-protectable, preventing unauthorized changes and adding an important security safeguard.
