Throw, Pop Quiz & Polls for engagement

Throw, Pop Quiz, and Polls are tools within the Magic Box for classroom engagement during a myViewBoard session. Each tool allows students to interact with the session through their devices. Please note, Polls is an exclusive tool to the Windows version of myViewBoard.

With Throw , students can share images, videos, and other document files to a myViewBoard session. Teachers will then have access to all files shared by students and can open them on the canvas.

With Pop Quiz , teachers can initiate a convenient and quick question-response format. This feature is great for a quick review after introducing a topic, or for asking students to share their thoughts and ideas.

With Polls  (Windows-only), teachers can prepare a series of timed questions with many question formats available (multiple choice, true or false, ratings, free format, vote, and random draw) before a lesson. Then, when it's that time of the lesson, teachers can ask students to join Polls to have a convenient way to respond to several questions from their devices.

For each of these tools, students can interact with a myViewBoard session through either the Companion app or myViewBoard Portal. Additionally, navigate to the respective articles for each tool to learn more about their features and functionalities.
