Manager UI overview
Manager uses an icon and menu-based navigation system that allows users to access all available features. Right menu panel
By default, Manager displays the Device page on launch. The manager side menu provides access to various functions in Manager. Click on the left side menu to view all available pages.

The Devices page allows admins to perform the following tasks: Add and remove devices to manage
Send commands to devices
Organize devices into groups
Review details for added devices
Export a list of all devices These tasks can be performed remotely via the web interface. Additionally, you can send commands individually to each device, or by batch t

Send commands to devices
Once you have several devices added, you can now use the side panel to send commands to one or more devices. Access the side panel
Launch Manager and perform the following: Click the Menu to open the side panel.
Click the Devices option.
Click the All Devices tab.
On the device list, click the checkbox of the devices you want to manage.

Install apps via Manager
Remotely install apps into one or more devices. Install apps
To install apps via Manager, follow the steps below: Click Devices on the left sidepanel.
Navigate to the All Devices tab.
On the device list, select target devices for installation. Click Apps on the top toolbar.
Click Install from the dropdown. In the popup:
Select apps to install.

Update firmware
Send the Update firmware command to remotely update the firmware of multiple devices. This update can be performed on demand or on schedule. Update on demand

Back Up and Restore

Broadcast overview
Use Manager to broadcast content to one or more devices. Standard and urgent messages can be sent to all devices within the entity. However, additional content types will only be available for devices that have an Advanced license assigned.

Standard messages
When broadcasted, standard messages are text only messages that appear on a banner at the top of device screens. By default, these messages can be dismissed by the device users.

Urgent message
When broadcasted, Urgent messages are text only messages that appear full-screen on a red background. Note that users cannot dismiss or terminate the broadcast on the device, and must be terminated manually from Manager.

Playlists
Use a Playlist to display a slideshow of multimedia during broadcast. Note that you must create a playlist first before it can be available for broadcast.

Web page
Add a Web page element to display a live web page on selected devices. Manager also supports broadcasting video content from YouTube and other video platforms.

Multimedia
Manager provides support for broadcasting multimedia files to devices. Multimedia refers to the following file types:
Images
Videos
Audio files
Note that you must use the Resources page to upload the multimedia file first before it becomes available for broadcast. For more information about supported multimedia file types and how to upload them

Presentation File
Use the Presentation File option to broadcast your existing presentation files. Manager converts each page in the file and broadcasts them to selected devices as a playlist. The following file types are supported for broadcast:
PowerPoint (PPTX) files
Portable Document Format (PDF) files

Layouts
Specify a Layout that defines the placement of your selected media during a broadcast. Users can switch between landscape and portrait options. If no layout is selected, Manager defaults to showing only one media which takes up the full screen during the broadcast.

The Broadcast page provides a Save as Template feature to create a library of pre-defined options that could be re-used for future broadcasts. Use these templates to ensure every broadcast is repeatable, consistent, and error-free.

Manage apps on Advanced devices
Use Manager to show or hide selected apps on the device. This prevents regular non-admin users from accessing certain apps (like apps used for updating firmware or configuring the system) on target devices. Note the following behavior:

Create playlists
Use the Playlist section to manage organized collections of resources (audio or video tracks, files, etc) grouped sequential playback. Schedule startup and shutdown
Use the Schedule Startup & Shutdown feature to automate the Power on and Power off times of one or more devices. Target devices will automatically start and stop at the specified schedule.

Back Up and Restore with Advanced
All Manager users can create restore points that save the state of Manager and can be used to revert Manager to a previously backed up state. However, with a Manager Advanced license, users can back up 10 restore points instead of 1 restore point. Settings Lock
With the Settings Lock feature in the Remote Control, set whether a ViewBoard's settings requires a password for users to access it. Create, assign and schedule Jobs
For devices assigned with an Advanced license: Use Jobs to apply commands with specific pre-defined parameters to devices. These commands can be sent to take effect immediately, or set to run on a schedule. A job can be applied to multiple devices, or groups of devices.

Profiles are templates that admins use to deploy identical settings to one or more devices. Profiles are convenient for the following use cases: Set devices with the same time for startup, shutdown, and firmware updates.

Remote Desktop
Use the Remote Desktop feature to remotely connect and control a device with a Manager Advanced license. This allows admins to avoid unnecessary trips to a physical device by allowing them to troubleshoot devices remotely from the Manager console, in a new browser tab.
